Autumn Setup

Faction Rider PC Fosse has been keeping himself entertained in Norway whilst waiting for the parks to open. Trying to find something new and interesting to do, they came up with this idea:

According to PC the session panned out as follows:

“We built the landing first, then found an old rail we wanted to try again, but this time, to use it as a launch rail, it took us a day to finish the set up and then we had to find snow. Taking a tractor, we picked up two big trailers worth of snow at the hockey hall, 15 mins away. After getting the snow sorted on the landing and in run, I was pretty scared to hit it, because of the long rail and scary gap.”

“We talked about getting towed in by a KTM bike, which we had never tried, but you have to start somewhere. So I got towed in by the bike, and was gaping the set up without hitting the rail. It worked really well, so I tried the rail and it was super FUN!! Doing some Misty 450 off, and 630′s and so on”

Autumn Rail

The plan for next time is to move the landing further away, so I can try bigger tricks, and not land at the bottom of the landing everytime, like in this session.

What I have done lately

Sorry for the bad update lately, but I simply have not had time to blog.

What I have done in the past..

First, I have lived in a big boat in the Sognefjorden where I have recorded a series with NRK that will go on TV next year.
Performance like: Lasse Kjus, Karina Hollekim, Fridtjof Fredricsson, Anja gardli, Magnus Tveito, Tom Erik Heimen with several, was to play into this.

Arrival day

Me and Frido were the two single twin tip riders, so we made a couple BC Kickers we jumped on. Film clips were some of the coolest I've ever seen, much due the backdrop where we had the Sognefjord as background 1000 m below us.

dub flat 9
We went there for almost 6 weeks, so I've learned a lot of new things and become familiar with many cool people.

at the goatfarm

It should be noted that I have been totally raw in the kitchen, haha!

Watching footage

Fortunately, I got 2 days break where we went to Hemsedal to run Helly Hansen Invitational, the competition in Norway with the highest level in my opinion.
I won Crowd Please part where I made a Dub Flat 9 Japan topless and landed almost in the bottom, frido won both style and spin to win. So it was a successful trip there.

When we went back to the boat, i did my very first basejump ever from a bridge, it was so freakin awsome, so scary and funny at the same time, super stoked to get the chance to try that, im pretty sure that it wasnt my last time to jump basejump.

The jump!
A big thanks to Tom Erik Heimen!!

Now i have been riding with Faction Skis for a year, and all i can say is that i am super stoked on the skis. I simply love the design and the function, super light skis but still stabile. Just as I like it!

Faction Kennedy

Not long ago I was on the glacier with Field Productions and had a kicker shoot there.
It was a very successful kicker shoot that I'm super stoked on! All the riders got some nice shots. the riders were; myself, Aleksander Aurdal, Anders Backe, Ole Mustad and Maria Bagge

Returns to Folgefonna next week with Chaoz Productions to film a bit and get some more summer skiing going on, so it's something I look forward to much!

Norwegian Open etc.

Hey!

Sorry for the lacking update..
But much have happend and i have just forgetten to write at my blog!

My first Norwegian Open contest, was at Kongsberg.
I got second place after Thomas Dolplads. it was a really fun contest with good weather and the stoked-o-meter was high. The jump was super sick!!! soooo much hangtime, and a poppy kicker, just the way i like it.

3: Steffen Hamre/Aleks Aurdal..1: Thomas Dolplads..2: PC Fosse..

And after Norwegian Open at Kongsberg i decided to attend the Norwegian Open at Norefjell. There i met up with some guys from NTG.
When i registrated i was the only guy in the Senior Class.. wich sucked!

But after the finals, it was price awards, and Johan Berg won the 13-15 class, Lasse Nyhaugen won the 16-19 class, and i won ofcourse the senior class..

But when they was giving away the award for best over-all (the man with the highest point of everyone) the yelled out my name.
So it was a very fun day afterall. So stoked to get first place!
Here is a link from NRK who covered the comp (copy the link)

Over-all winner PC Fosse

And now i am leaving to Sudndalen/Haatveit`s place for the Norwegian Open Finals in Big Air.

After that i am going to stay at andreas place for the Backyard battle hosted by Andreas Haatveit. i will cruise around in his park, but at the comp i am going to be a judge.

And after that.. I am leaving for Bomba Big Air at Storlien hosted by Steffen Hamre and Bomba energy drink.

Hey!

The past days ive been in Hemsedal and got to film some.
I was there with Petter Bolstad, Anja Palme and Dansken.
We got the oppurtunity to have the Big Jump in the bottom just for ourself, a big thanks to Hemsedal!!
I have been practise on my Dub cork 12 mute, and i think i have it on lock now, pretty stoked.

Today i am leaving to Hovden for SB Playground, hosted by SB and Fridjof Fredricsson.
It is a Big Air contest, and i really looking forward to it.

After Hovden im leaving to Austria for the Austria Open then it is the European Open in Laax.

In the nearest future i will post a JOSS video, to try to qualify for the third spot in JOSS Norway, it is one available spot together with PK Hunder and Andreas Hatveit.
